A very good point Kaska.
I am sure that you are not the only one who relies on the weekends to take photos.
I do the same, as during the week I am too busy with my office.
BS, maybe we could set the theme 2 weeks in advance.
In effect it would only be one week where we would have to scramble.
We have the theme for this coming Friday (peace);
we could now already set a theme for August 11
this coming weekend we could then set the theme for August 18.
From there on it would be the same as we do now, only each weekend the theme is for two weeks hence.

hm......suggesting a new theme....for the 11th.......some suggestions:
cookingfriday, windowfriday, pursefriday....... :)
i have lot's of ideas, just ask when you want me to pop it out! ;)
ps, if we want to decide themes in advance it will be easerier if we
mention the dates so there will be no confusion, in this big forum it
might be hard to find the theme decided..... night friends!

thank you friends, I see that you're kin to my suggestion. I'd like it very much as I will have more time to prepare and I see there are more people like me.
as for suggestions of new themes, I thought we could dedicate some fridays to human achievements. there could be friday with buildings thrgough centuries - from how old we can find to modern architectures
we can dedicate one to windmills (old and then new), technology is another one..., cars... just some ideas. Nature is fantastic but what we've done is too!

lovefriday, nightfriday, treefriday, workfriday, birthdayfriday, catfriday, phonefriday........

I think jamby means that if you have no photoshop you must try to make your protest against war with a single shot. Which is much more difficult to express the theme....
One has not always the opportunity to shoot a ruin or wounded people or burning houses or fleeing people...

I can't use PS and so have to rely on a photograph, yep, this has made it a bit difficult, but maneagable as we are making a statement here. Hahaha!!! It's been SUCH a challenge this one!!

Anyway, for the ones who are confused...........THEME FOR THIS COMING FRIDAY IS WAR...
WE ARE MAKING A STAND AGAINST THE WAR.........POST YOUR ENTRY ON FRIDAY AND TAG IT NOWARFRIDAY...
the sugestions we are making now are for next week theme, as we decided that knowing the theme a week in advance would be a good idea, mainly for those who have litle time during the week......
i think that its a good idea to have a decision on next week theme by the end of today......keep checking the forum.
ALL CLEAR ??
