Guys,
I've just fixed a problem with paypal payment processing (and had my personal credit card locked by my bank 3 times during testing because the paypal development sandbox doesn't work properly!)
If you have any problems with your PRO subscription not updating please let me know and I will adjust manually OR you can wait a few days and the PAYPAL PRO updates will retry and go thru successfully.

The things I heard most from people is NOT wanting a "subscription" payment automatically set as the default.
I don't personally care (and knew how to adjust it myself) - but there are frequently Forum and comment posts complaining, lamenting etc. their apparent lack of control because it has been set as automatically renewing.
Not updating isn't a problem I have EVER read a complaint about - the opposite is what seems to bother people the most.

Hear Hear!
It's listed in Paypal as a "Subscription" rather than as a "purchase". This means that paypal defaults to auto-renew on the payment. You then have to go into Paypal and CANCEL the subscription, more or less right after you've bought it :(

I do not wish to to renew my membership through Paypal, but it seems not to let me do it any other way. Why's that then ? :^)

In short because the powers that be here won't listen to eggy, or to it's paying members when we frequently say that we want another way of paying our subscription!
