As this is a somewhat old fashioned camera now... it doesn't have that function as some of the newer models do, you will only view your image on screen after you take the shot

The benefit to this fact is that your battery will last a LONG LONG time compared to people that keep the LCD on. :)

I always have my LCD on as I rarely use the viewfinder, I've often taken more than five hundred shots and the battery has still been good.
They have moved on a lot this last couple of years. :-))
