could someone please advice me on best software to get to improve portrait shots?
smoother skin, whiter teeth etc!
nothing too hard as no experience, only just downloaded a free trial of paintshop and dont find it to easy lol

Photoshop ... which is why it's the industry standard... BUT... it has a steep learning curve and no-one said it will be easy, which is why people like me charge for their services...
Did I mention it was the most expensive and hardest to master?

Simple to use and quite effective, although personally I prefer to use Photoshop for absolute control over what I do.

thanks miles, that link looks good has an offer on at moment till end june £35 so that good will try trial first!
just looked at your pics, amazing, what lens do you use for your portraits?
as you can see from my photos its early days for me, so much to learn and so many questions to ask!
i just have the 50mm 1.8!

portrait proffesional is an excellent software for your portraits and and you can tweek later, and is very easy to use i downloaded the full version free but can be complicating to install if you dont know what you are doing, but deffinatley buy and try you wont be dissapointed

tony, i wanted it more for getting rid of blemishes, spots whiten teeth etc!
also for my ageing family to look younger!
i got portrait proffesional thanx bigandy!
it was only £35 on offer so got a good deal there usually £50
