I use photo shop 6 and edited a picture with a drop shadow that I really like. Of course that was several months ago and now I cannot figure out what I did. Here is an example:

Sure am not liking any of my recent attempts. Any ideas?

One way -
duplicate the Layer;
increase the Canvas size (to give the white border);
in Layer; Layer Style; choose Style Outer Bevel, Technique Smooth; Angle 0; Altitude 90;
play with the Depth and Size to suit.
There will doubtless be other ways :)

There is an easier way....use a Photoshop Action to do the job for you!
