HP Photosmart Printer. Love love love it. You do have to buy photo ink, and I tend to get all the little ink cartridges confused.....
I also have the printer for my Kodak easy Share camera, but I'll be honest, I haven't used it yet.

Love printing.. print big print often.
Canon S9000 must be cheap on ebay now it's 3 years obsolete.
Ink still costs a fortune though.
Fancy art paper is my current obsession.

I agree 100% with the illustrious Mr Pond here.
I use an Epson 1520 which is a fantastic tool, a bit long in the tooth and not up to present day resolutions but prints up to A2 and does postscript as well. Also an 830 photo which is great for day to day stuff and high quality prints up to A4. Epson make fantastic printers which outshine everything else IMHO. For best results I recommend their coated matt paper for brightest colours and glossy for best depth.
I am presently coveting a 5000 which may well be joining me soon.
Ebay cheap ink does the job fine as long as you keep the cartridges at room temp'.
I can also recommend the cheap glossy paper to be found in your local pound shop in packs of ten sheets. Am acheiving good results at low prices.
Oh and great big stonking five colour commercial printing presses give a pretty cool result as well.

Hate printing as it gives me a big headache. So I never print as I'm never pleaesed with the results. Don't know enough about it and need more training from the 'Illustrous Mr Pond'.

I print at home on an HP OfficeJet G85. I (like Consumer Reports) have always used HP, and believe it to be one of the best brands.
For online, I have used Kodak, Adoramix, snapfish, Walmart and shutterfly. The quality seems to be about the same on all, so I go primarily by price. I get printed tons of 4x6 since I use that size for the PhotoCards I sell.

I have a Canon i9100 that does A3 size. I love it, but it does go through ink!

I hardly print any pictures at all. The only ones I have are 40x60 cm prints, with which I decorate my office at home. Of course I don't have a printer that can handle that size prints, so I send it to a print shop.
Even though the printshop advises against printing 4 megapixel photos as 40x60 cm prints, I am very happy with the quality of the prints.

I print pictures to give away as gifts and pictures of the grandson. I was saving the pictures of the grandson on a disc and them putting them on my son computer but they never got printed. So I started printing them and giving them to my daughter-in-law.
I use a hp deskjet 3620

I just acquired a HP2175 a few weeks ago, to replace an old HP600. The 2175 is doing great work. These days printers of any make are cheap!. It is the ink cartridges that drive you into bankruptcy if you print a lot. I am fortunate that I get cartridges and photo papaer at wholesale, at least 40% off list prices.
I also just leased a Konica Minolta Bizhub C351 for my office. Although leased for copying and faxing, it scans greta and fast, and
the color printing is amazing.
The drawback is that the cost is in excess of $25,000:):):):)

I didn't print or let print my photo's till recently.I've got an album? (book to put pictures in) from my daughter, so I had to make prints.
But I had it done by a printershop (Kodak) on internet. quality is very good, and since I had more then hundred they cost me 10 eurocent a piece.

for years i was loyal to epson, but only because i didn't know better. the reddish cast turned to green when i removed it with photoshop. i couldn't trust my eyes when i switched to canon. i have the ip5000. totally awsome prints, and it gives you borderless prints if you choose.

I use www.ezdigitalphotos.com because I work for them! When you sign up you get 20 free prints. It only costs 12 cents US per print after that. The 8x10 prints are really cheap too. We will ship all over the world. The prints are professional quality and are made using high quality chemicals and Fuji Crystal Archive paper. We are pretty quick too. Tell them Erin sent you maybe they will give me a raise! ;)
