hey guys,
so my gf wants to buy a camera...a point and shoot..but has those "slr look" hehe.. now im not sure which to recommend as im only a noob at this..
so she has her eyes set on this coolpix p80..do you think the powershot has something better? or should she just go with coolpix?
one thing she wants to do though is to capture landscapes...

I have the Canon Powershot S5 IS, and I love it. About as close to an SLR you can get. It also takes superb vids.

If the gf has eyes for the p80, then that's what you should get, right? It's a no-brainer, Last time I tried to influence my gf's purchasing decision, she got something she didn't really like, and I got no sex or food for nearly a month. Think beyond the camera, Sir.
