Calling all Fotothingers! We are looking for the BEST new member of each month. Of course, best is open for interpretation. We would like you to help us identify, welcome, and maybe even reward some of our great new users.
March is half over, so who is the favourite thus far? Your input is great appreciated!

It would be great if a new member for the first 30 days had something on their page that said that (New Member) - not only would you be more successful in this endeavor , but I suspect that more new users would be welcomed by more comments

ya like i have time to try and figure out who joined in march
perhaps the list of new members could be broken down into months
if not then i'm not bothering
i don't have the time to research this
good idea tho in concept :-)

Have to agree Hans, he was the one I was looking for. It didn't take me that long Lisa, just click on first photo or arhive to see when first posting was

that doesn't always work tho
sometimes people join up and then wait to post
or they've been here forever and delete all their pics and start over
and what if i miss a march signer upper because i didn't go far enough back in the new members list
do you see what i mean? there's no way of knowing when these people signed up

well i watch the new members every now and then .... and this Tomf148 pulled my attention by his fantastic uploads ...really very nice pictures ...maybe there are more like him in march?? ... i dont know ...does it matter ?? :-))

I meant to say bill's idea is good if it is do'able
We just identify and FT do the rest .. I think keep it simple just those on the new Members list with photos first posted in the month we are talking about.
I know there will also be existing members opening new accounts for one reason or another, just have to live with that sometimes it may be obvious.

ok i went and looked
and there is only 4 pages of new members
used to be more pages i thought cause i never did make it to the end before
so what happens if some poor soul signs up on March 31st?
on April 1st does the list start over or do you have part of march and part of april up for awhile?
sorry i'm in such an analytical mood today but if this is gonna work then we need to know

It's not as if it's making someone King of FT so if someone isn't identified I don't think it is the end of the world.. I say keep it simple if we see a first photo posted in the month we are talking about they qualify
But the new member indicator would be nice too

it says on their profile when they joined ... so simply look at the pictures see someone you like ... check profile ... nominate ?
