Any chance the camera database at http://www.fotothing.com/digital-cameras.php might one day actually match the cameras in use? No Canon 40D :(

Yeah, I've got a brand new camera too, don't remember buying it though, for some reason a couple of months ago my camera details changed.

Hmm... yeah something is broken. There's no photos listed under the camera model I have.
This is the link I got to under tech details

From the camera tab up top I clicked on "Sony" and found my camera model and it linked here:
http://www.fotothing.com/camera/Sony/DSC-P93A/1/
It has photos but it doesn't have my most recent photos in the lineup anyway. It has a picture from November as my most recent photo. Why isn't it updating?

if you go to the camera page in the link that DS provides above you see the list of cameras and i can go to Nikon and click for more cameras and it shows as 101 pictures on this site taken with one

mine is not listed there either ....
and if you click on the camera link in my techs, this is the result

BUT ... if i click on more HP cameras, there are 801 pics taken with R817 ... the lastest one of mine is from november too ...

magic month of the camera section ceasing to work is November 2007
and for some reason when viewing exif data under a picture if you click the camera model it always goes to an empty no pictures page still :(

It appears that this database isn't dynamic
In addition to the problems/issues mentioned above, the latest photos appear to be from Nov, 2007
This really is a silly problem, it used to work just fine, and was dynamically updated.
Also with this "new" format, the number of photos/camera are no longer listed. This could be a valuable piece of info for someone deciding on a new camera.

I have the Sony Cybershot camera and it is listed but i don't know how to add that camera to my Fotothing profile as the page has seemed to disappear someone please help me?

This is NOT a site bug - please give a little bit of thought before you start a thread to ask a question.
Despite some of the nonsense you have pulled in the past this is a very friendly site and people will be willing to forgive and help you. BUT you have to put things in the right place. This should go in "Off Topic" or in "Cameras".
To answer your question, to edit your Profile - click on "My Fotothing" on the top menu, then click on "Fotothing Profile". It's the 4th question down from the top.
